PILATES TEACHER TRAINING

Our Program is Unique

This is not your Grandma’s Teacher training. The Muse Movement Pilates Teacher Training Program does more than simply teach you a dated repertoire. This is a modern, multi-faceted holistic approach to movement. We offer a deconstructed, post-modern look at Pilates that helps you become a critical movement thinker. We teach you how to be a confident and sophisticated teacher and human who can read the narrative of a body. You will be able to create a movement experience that fits the various needs of differing bodies and lived experiences; in a group class or with a private client. This program is one of a kind to Toronto and now Lisbon.

Become an Expert

Our Pilates Instructor Training graduates become coveted teachers. Our program is taught through dynamic and interactive lectures and hands-on learning. You will learn how to think on your feet and combine deep anatomical understanding, functional movement, methodical exercise progressions and creative sequencing to create a movement experience that is relevant to a modern urban lifestyle. As a student, you will have unlimited access to on- demand class offerings so you can embody the practice yourself.

Our Approach

We constantly strive to create an environment that is inclusive and accessible. We take pride in incorporating our core values into our program. We are constantly updating the program based on collaboration and feedback from our students; modern science and research and inspired life lessons. We are always evolving in order to incorporate new learnings and continue to make this, The Best, Most Comprehensive and Dynamic Pilates Training in Canada and Now; Europe with our Inaugural training in Lisbon in April 2024.

Scholarships

We recognize the many forms of marginalization and oppression that exists in the world that impact a broad spectrum of people. Our scholarship seeks to facilitate access and representation for racialized people, who have been historically underrepresented within the Pilates and boutique fitness industry and spaces. We also recognize that the Portuguese salary is not the same as that of all of the foreigners and digital nomads who are moving to this beautiful country and the typical pricing of a Pilates training can be potentially out of reach. As such we are offering two 50% scholarships to our unique Mat Pilates Program.

One scholarship for a Portuguese Native on a low salary

One scholarship for a racialised person

Please fill out your application and then email keri@musemovement.ca and let her know you are applying for the scholarship.
