Workshop Description:

Creating Safer Spaces is an anti-oppression workshop given from the lense of relational dynamics and nervous system management (i.e. how to manage your reactions!)

Oppression happens within relationships, to self, other and systems. Together, we'll look at how oppression can sneakily or overtly occur in our relationships, be it professional, personal or societal. We'll explore experiments of critical self-awareness to help us get ahead of potential harmful reactions and strengthen our abilities to intentionally respond, take accountability or advocate.

Whether you're a facilitator, group leader or a person living in this world, we all have a responsibility to ourselves and each other to be in compassionate relationship with each other. We all deserve to exist in safer, braver and accountable spaces.
